i know we don't have much time. there is plenty of football being broadcasted today, and that's important enough. additionally to the 7 hours or so for the football games, there will be lots of programming time devoted to discussing the players and potential outcomes and practices from this week, some history of the game, the teams, the teams in relation to each other, the possible effects of smack talk throughout the week, and so on and so forth. i know this information is important, just as i know the games themselves are really important. if they weren't important, they wouldn't be on TV, right? there wouldn't be so much money thrown at them, right? plus, there are those wonderful two hours worth of commercials flooding us during the 1 hour of actual game time, getting into our noggins, over and over, informing us to the importance of brand x and y and z. personally, i love brand y. how did i ever live without it? on that note, how the hell did people survive when there was no espn? when there was not thousands of hours of sports television without any sports? i don't know, but i must say, i'm super excited for all the delightful programming leading up to the super bowl, all those worthy hundreds of hours of tv that get into my mind and fill it with such amazing ideas about myself and the world i live in. ahhhh. michael irvin - you better be wearing your pimp suit today...i love you looking like a pimp!
