the decision in roe vs. wade came on this date in 1973. abortion is just as much an issue now as it was then. maybe more. what can be done? we can laugh at it: at abortion in general, at specific abortions, at people's opinions of abortions, of choice, of life. in other words, we can get off our high and mighty horses and laugh at ourselves.
there are a number of pictures in this blog - not many would be considered funny. or humorous. or comedic. abortion is in the news often, and it's almost always an "issue." i theorize that once we as a people are able to laugh at this issue, we'll actually be able to discuss this issue. maybe then, we won't be killing doctors and providers and protesters and bystanders and maybe, eventually, fetuses (why not fetui or feti?). there has been at least 1 attempt at abortion comedy, done by none other than trey parker and matt stone, probably the most gifted comedians of the past decade+ enjoy this 2 minute taste of their brand of humor.

i just discovered the link works if you copy and paste it in another browser, but for some reason it won't allow you to click and go
