i am curious how many people might read based solely on titles
case in point - my blog titled "let's find the comedy" is by far the most viewed one, and it dealt with abortion.
the blog where i included an bears/packers score as the title, but maybe nothing to do with that particular game, is by far the least viewed blog.
i also have an official audience that is 83% female - i understand there are numerous x and y factors
for a few years now, i've had in my possession a wonderful journal. i received it as a gift, and the giver was thoughtful enough to make an inscription. part of it is as follows, "i picked this classy, hardbound journal because you are a classy, hardbound man yourself. and you shine brightly on the inside, as do these blank pages awaiting you."
i didn't necessarily believe that then. then, i was blocking myself from a lot of the world, in out and around me.
now, i see it, and feel it.
this journal has taken on a number of intimate uses over the years, for holding poetry and difficult thoughts, to keeping my life goal list safe and sound, and recently as a dream journal. i've kept it by my bed, with a pen, and have recorded more night into morning dreams over the past month than i ever recall even having in the years prior. that's pretty sweet. maybe one day i'll share one with y'all.
right now, i feel like sharing this little bit of info - i wrote out 21 different "to do's before this body's eternal sleep," i have completed 2, i am at work on 2 others, and i'm wondering if i really need to do this one just because i wrote it in there - 15 - go to an opium den in Bangkok.
enjoy your weekend all - i'm off to work for a couple days, thus allowing the northeast welfare state to remain strong.
oh, and i'm open to many answers to the joke posed in the title. if you aren't afraid, post some :)
