a few pics

i discovered this bar cafe restaurant while taking busses back and forth to cortago to work on my computer.  i walked the 3k to it the other day.  if i were to stay in orosi, this is likely where i'd do a bunch of writing.  but at $3 a beer, compared to $1.50 avg elsewhere, I could do better.  Still, sweet seeing and hearing those rapids as i read and drank.
the bird, again

sweet view.  greenhouse in front, mountain in back, clouds coming off the mountain.  rain was on its way.

the camper will be my temp home until a bed is delivered to the 2nd property i'll be watching.

woodshop to right, back view of Rob's home

greenhouse - for costa rican plants that do not want to be drenched in H2O daily

coconuts

cranbrry hibiscus to the right.
many  bananas picked from Bebe's property to the left

pinapple garden.  i de-weeded it.  took awhile.  i will reap the delic rewards soon enough

outside kitchen.  and Lucy laying on the long chair

lucy's head facing the man made wood burning stove

propane burners.  and plenty of recyclables, as well as a kitchen compost.

i shoveled compost on this new garden patch

toilet and shower - ps, toilet paper does not get flushed in costa rica.  you toss it in hte garbage or do what we'd do her - reuse and recycle into the ground.

neighbors ;)

wood shed.  perhaps later this week Rob and I will make some furniture to go into Bebe's home.  It's bare now.  and beautiful.  I could have taken pictures off of her photobucket, but that seemed like cheating, and I didn't have the time to capture any last week.  So, next week, i shall snap and upload, continuing the chronicling of my gypsy adventures.  i'm going rustic, which fits with my 60's and 70's affinity.  pura vida, amigos
