http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp8rJVWC2a0 - julian assange interview discussing facebook as a tool for spying of citizens. "number one enemy is ignorance," j. assange. i like the idea he proposes that the world would be better off w/out the media and how the media has let us down in recent decades, let itself down, from its overall point of existence...and i'll add - that we let the media get away with that every step of the way.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9/11_conspiracy_theories - kinda says it all in the title. norad, insider trading, questions of the structural integrity of the building being able to fall and/or steel melt because of a plane crash, mideast oil pipeline construction plans, some powerful contingencies perhaps wanting war, the initial puppet bin laden video tape supposedly having him deny involvement and much potential tampering with said tape, the improbable death of bin laden 10 years later, financial crisis beginning in the US - and thus world - until the 9/11 military machine propped up said economies for a few more years until the inevitable crash, the zionist/jewish people warned away from the twin towers theories, the pre-9/11 fbi investigations that were potentially quashed, info being out there previously about hijacked planes, let alone the truthful info about iraq being out publicly long before we declared war on them, and we as a people/media/nation just pretended to not see said info because our govn't wouldn't lie to us, etc, eye witness reports that building 7 blew up even before one of the planes hit the twin towers, the inconsistencies with the reports on the pentagon and flight 93 plane crashes, the christian coalition and their supposed immense hold over the bush white house, and our subsequent wars with muslim nations, and so much more. oh, there's a lot going on in 9/11 remembrance. that said,
i cry almost every 9/11 for the human that died, for the valor displayed, for the brief period of world unity that came as a result of that historic day.
oh and i'm also following pro football and us open tennis today. and i finished gone with the wind early this morning. hadn't seen prior. excellent movie. i can see why, even at around 4 hours, it remains the most popular and most acclaimed movie ever.
peace

i'll add that out of all the theories mentioned above, the one i feel is probably the least likely and most damaging is the idea the jews caused 9/11 for financial gain and/or a war on muslims in the middle east. that theory is out there, so it seems irresponsible not to include it, and also irresponsible to leave it dangling up there as if it's worthy of just as much thought and energy
