and i love the cool off. i hear the states have been unseasonably warm. well, it's the hot dry season here, and i think we, too, have been unseasonably hot. i've found little things like thinking to be difficult in the hot daytime sun these past few days. weeks? perhaps that'll change for a bit a i'll be able to more thoroughly enjoy the daytime hours without being shielded from the sun and heat.
where am i exactly? here - http://www.posterojo.com/
lots of howler monkeys and cicadas and sweet birds. with the rain tonight, i even heard a frog or two. and there's 2 super adorable kittens that i've been snugging with the last couple nights. one of them is a hunter.
as i type away the nighttime hours in an area with the only light on, thus an area attracting numerous bugs, the whiter kitten gets into the zone. one after another, it takes down the bugs. the large one's. it doesn't seem to care for the smaller one's when there are fat cicadas and mantis's that need to be preyed on. and it doesn't just swat at them. it chomps them. pretty quickly. and then gets back in the hunt. this typically means it's walking over the keyboard i'm using. so sometimes i, too, catch a cicada, then offer it to my lil' friend.
an oppossum visited the main area last night. the cats seem to know their too small to take it on now. something tells me that won't last for too long.
i drove a truck today. sweet as.
here are some pics from my new hang out in my lovely temporary home.
